There are two little phrases, please and thank you.
Use them wisely and you will see,
Just how powerful these words can be.
“Please,” you say with a sweet smile so wide,
Can open any door, far and wide.
“Can I have a toy, please?” you say,
And it might just come your way.
Then when you get what you asked for, don’t forget,
To say “Thank you,” for it’s the politest etiquette.
“Thank you,” for the toy, thank you for the fun,
Thank you for everything, under the sun.
Please and thank you, simple and bright,
Make everyone’s day, oh so right!

And spread a little joy, as much as can be.
